Way to verify if a VLOOKUP lookup_value has multiple potential returns?

I feel like there's an easy way to do this, but I'm drawing a blank.

Do I need to construct a macro or is there a formula option I'm missing?

Thanks in advance!

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
You could use COUNTIF to count how many times the value you are looking up appears in the lookup column.

I do know that the lookup_value appears more than once, but what I want to know is if the return_value is always the same. Its about 120,000 lines.

You could use the returned value from the VLOOKUP for the criteria of the COUNTIF.

=COUNTIF(Sheet2!B1:B10, VLOOKUP(A2, Sheet2!A1:B10,2,0))
