Weird EOMONTH #NAME error

One of my colleagues is using a spreadsheet that has an EOMONTH formula in it. It works properly on one of her machines, but gives a #NAME error on the other, even though the Analysis Toolpak is ticked. Anyone seen this before? (She works on both machines at the same time with the same network user id - is it possible that this could confuse Excel about whether the Toolpak is really there?)

I have to say I've never heard of that before. This happens with all your workbooks?

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)

When you are editing a formula the name box changes to a dropdown containing the most recently used functions. I think that was introduced in Excel 2003.

Yes, any spreadsheet - I've just created one that adds two numbers!

However, I've just spotted what's happening. EOMONTH is at the top of a drop-down list of functions in the name box, probably those most recently used. For a while, I've been writing VBA instead of using worksheet functions so I'd forgotten that EOMONTH probably was the last function I used.

The list also appears in the name box when you type = in any cell - well known to you I'm sure!

Apologies for being dumb!
