What is a good system to teach myself visual basic?

I am pretty decent with Excel in general and I can edit simple macros after i manually record them. But I really would like to learn VB and dont have much time to invest in it. What would be a good way to go? Thanks!

I read Excel VBA Programming for Dummies by John Walkenbach and it was a well spent $10 for a very good intro to VBA. Also very good is VBA and Macros for Microsoft Office Excel 2007 (by our own MrExcel Bill Jelen) and Formulas and Functions with Microsoft Excel 2003 (in the same series) -- you can't use Excel properly if all you know is VBA. Many Excel experts here have recommended the Power Programming books by John Walkenbach (available for all versions). As you can tell, I'm a book person ... it's a good way to get an organized introduction. After that ... well, you just keep learning and learning and learning ...

The MSDN Microsoft Office 2000/Visual Basic Programmer's Guide is still relevant and has a lot in it if youhave the patience to go through it.
