No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.

It's very interesting. I think Excel is so prolific, and so under utilized that intermediate users (not even proficient) are often categorized as "power users", and experts that it ultimately hurts all of us.
