Worksheet tabs suddenly disappeared from workbook. All of them. Even the worksheet being displayed. How? And, better still, how do I get them back? My boss is hopping mad!:eeek: Tried Tools/View/Sheet Tabs and also .../View/Horizontal Scroll Bar. Tried maximising both inner and outer windows, etc. Only affects this one, crucial, workbook. Occurs when I open in on both our linked computers, so reboot won't work either. Prompt reply appreciated! Thanks.

If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
Dear Mr Foster,
Found the solution to my own problem, but recording it in case it helps anyone else.
No idea how it happened still, but recalled a keyboard shortcut CTRL+PAGE DOWN which selects next Worksheet, and not only was I able to access all the worksheets by this method (even though there were no worksheet tabs), but the tabs all suddenly appeared. Bonus points for anyone who can tell me why they disappeared in the first place?

If you had full screen view working you wouldn't see the Tabs!

That works, but only if the sheet tab box is unchecked in Tools>View. In my case, it WAS checked. My solution has proved temporary. I can bring the tabs back with CTRL+PAGEDOWN, but when I select another tab, they all disappear again. Suggestions? No other workbook is affected. Only this one. Thanks.

Thanks, Prajul. That brings up the help box. I typed hide worksheet tabs and it just directs me to Tools>View>Worksheet Tabs. The Worksheet Tab is checked. Yet they remain invisible.
