Hi, I have my macro that every second does a copy and paste.
but window doesn't copy and paste anything else but the macro's value :(
is it normal?

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
my macro every second does this:
myValue.Copy
Worksheets("Sheet2").Range(colSheet2).End(xlUp).Offset(1, 0).PasteSpecial xlValues

Now, if the macro is running, and I open any program, notepad, IE, firefox, and I copy a part of a text and paste into a notepad I'm not able to copy any text and it pastes only myValue, it looks like excell keeps the memory somehow.

Any suggests?

Excel's Copy and Paste uses the Clipboard just like any windows applications use the Clipboard.

Have you thought about reprogramming your VBA to not use Copy?

ah, that would be very interesting, but i have no idea how i can do that.
How can i copy a value if i can't copy and paste it?

Like this:
Code:
Range("Z1:AL14").Value = Range("A1:M14").Value

What is myvalue? A single cell? A range?

Guessing here but would this work:
Code:
Worksheets("Sheet2").Range(colSheet2).End(xlUp).Offset(1, 0).Resize(myvalue.Rows.Count,myvalue.Columns.Count).Value=myvalue.Value
?

Then this should work:
Code:
Worksheets("Sheet2").Range(colSheet2).End(xlUp).Offset(1, 0).Value=myvalue
