In the following formula I am getting back a #N/A

Excel Formula:
=IF(C2="","",
IF(AND($F2="Add",LEFT(INDEX('[Report.xlsx]Attributes'!$I:$I,MATCH(E2,'[Report.xlsx]Attributes'!$B:$B,0)),10)="DO NOT USE"),"'Do Not Use' - please make alternative selection",""))

Thank you!

I would say that there is no exact match of E2 in [Report.xlsx]Attributes'!$B:$B.

Maybe because E2 doesn't Match in [Report.xlsx]Attributes'!$B:$B?
Or [Report.xlsx] is not open in the same Excel session
Or it's not your lucky day?

Whenever doing vlookups, or matches, it's always a good idea to embed trim to each value, to account for any "wonkiness" in formatting.
