I inserted a macro button to turn filter on or off. After I click on the macro button the word Apex disappears. Why does this happen and how can I prevent it?

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Impossible to do more than provide a vague guess without seeing the code. If you intend to post code, please copy it, then click vba button on posting toolbar, then paste your code where the cursor would be (in between the code tags you just created). You would do that any time you want someone to troubleshoot your code.

EDIT - in this case the code I refer to is your button click event code.
