Why is this a run time error 1004?

dashB.Range("A3").Resize(y - 1, 0).EntireRow.Clear

Where y = 4

I have tried not using a substraction in the row identifier, but the error is the same.
 

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
You can not resize as zero, if you want to keep the original dimension of 1 column then you need to set it as 1 or leave the second argument blank.
