So I am trying to track wins, losses and ties and by a certain league/team.

ResultTeam
WATeam A W'sL'sTie
WB
WCTeam B W'sL'sTie
LA
LATeam C W'sL'sTie
WB
LB
WC
LC

<tbody>
</tbody>

So I want it to look at the result in Col A, then correlate to what team it is in Col B, then say in C3 (under A W's) It will count if the win is from team A, if the loss is from team A (D3) and so on. I'm thinking like an =if forumla but haven't tried out a lot yet. Thanks.

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Take a look at the COUNTIFS function. It would look something like:

=COUNTIFS(A2:A10,"W",B2:B10,"A")

for Team A's wins
Code:
=COUNTIFS(A:A,"W",B:B,"A")

Just modify letters W and A to suite team and result
