Word Count

Does any one have a formula that counts the number of words in a cell?

If the words are separated by spaces try

=LEN(A1)-LEN(SUBSTITUTE(A1," ",""))+1

If all the words are separated by a space you could try this.

=LEN(A1)-LEN(SUBSTITUTE(A1," ",""))+1
