I have Excel 2002, and I have a cell with lots of text. And the cell is set to wrap text but only have of it is wraping, then it stops wraping,

Are there limits to Wraping text in a single cell?

thanks!

Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
texasalynn,

I take it that you lose text in your display. From my own experience there is a limit to the amount of text within a cell. Don't know what it is in XL2002 but from memory was 255 characters in XL97.

Forgot to add that the only way I ever got around it was to split the text over 2 cells as widen or increasing height made no difference.

Thanks Guys! Unfortunately, it needs to be in one cell as I am using a lookup function. I will just have to modify the text via alt-enter to get it to wrap manually.

thanks Jon - not my question but you are right. Excel limits the "DISPLAY" generally to the first 255 characters.
