Hi Gang,

Just a quick query to see if there is a simple way to have the X axis of an X-Y plot dependant on cell values in a worksheet?

In reference to my problem, I have a rather lengthy long section and wish 'zoom' in on certain sections of the graph. Obviously I can do this by changing the values within the chart properties but was wondering if there is a quicker way.

Any thoughts on the matter would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Thanks Jon, I do mean the X-axis. I think your link has the right answer as well. I'll let you know how I get on.

Jon,

Thanks for those solutions, they seem to do the trick. I'll probably tailor the macro solution, but very handy indeed.
