YTD Variance

This has got to be easy.

I have a simple worksheet with 2006 data in one column and 2007 data in the other, and 12 rows representing each month. I want to track YTD variance in the third column (i.e., c2 = b2-a2; c3=(b2+b3)-(a2+a3), etc.) How can I copy the formula down the 12 rows, always beginning with row 2 and adding the one more, without having to manually pick the fields?

Thanks,
Andrea

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple

Use a mixed Absolute/Relative formula like this:
Code:
=SUM($B$2:B3)-SUM($A$2:A3)
Drag down.
