Removing Page number from background of Excel

How do you or can you remove the background page number that is always on the Excel worksheet? It makes viewing the worksheet difficult a lot of the time.

Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
Hey I may be wrong but if you are seeing a page number you may be in page break view and you will want to change your view to normal view by going to View and then Normal.
