On the outside of a pivot table I am using a formula to calculate a growth rate using the pivot table data. Using a set number of row fields I can set up the formula to work correctly.
The problem arises when I add another field to the pivot table it overrides the formula column and if I subtract a field the formula is blank.
The column fields will stay constant (they are the years). The row fields are what changes. One time there coudl be 2 row fields, another time 4 row fields.
I guess my goal is to "follow" the last column of data and put the formula 1 column to the right of the last column of the pivot table.
Any thoughts?
thanks
