How can I add a mouseover/comment to an autoshape/freeform shape in excel? Currently I have a shape that runs a macro when clicked. I'd like a little pop up to tell the use what the shape does.

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.

You can add a dummy macro to the shape that has no functionality. For whatever reason, this allows the comment to be shown through the shape.

This will show a pointer finger as you roll over the shape, but have no functionality.

ie:
Sub Msg_Box()

End Sub
