I have a spreadsheet which generates a reference number in a cell. Is it possible that once this number has been generated the worksheet tab can be changed automatically to reflect the value in the cell ?

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Have you tried something like this:

Sub TabName()
ActiveSheet.Name = Range("A1").Value 'A1 is the cell with the reference number
End Sub
