If the answer you receive is inadequate for some reason, post a reply stating why the answer does not work and/or with more information (if needed) in the same thread.
If your question has not received any replies, do not start a new thread. Click the Forums drop down menu item on the toolbar (top left) and select "Your Threads" to find your threads. Alternatively, use Advanced Search for a more detailed search. You can "bump" posts back up to the top by posting a reply in the thread. Also refer to Rule #12 about re-bumping your threads.
If your question has been answered, helpers would appreciate if you post back in the thread to say so and choose the post that best answers your question by clicking the 'Mark as solution' tick icon to the right of that post. We do not lock the threads which have a marked solution post as an even better answer may come along later. If any post in a thread is particularly helpful, you may click the Like button on that post.
If you wish to make a complaint about another member, please use a Report button (at the bottom left of any post or Private Message) to send a message to the moderators.
You cannot attach or upload actual files as samples.
However, you can upload images and you can use XL2BB tool to generate compatible BBCode for MrExcel Message Board from the selected Excel worksheet range.
If posting VBA code, please use Code Tags with vba option - like this [code=vba]Paste code here[/code] - or use the Code button on the editor toolbar (), then copy and paste your code into the text box in the code dialog window. Make sure VBA Code is selected as Language.
There is a Test Here forum on this board where you can test these posting aids before using them in your actual questions.
