Hi,
I am designing a log book in excel. In the workbook I have a "log" work sheet and a bunch of "test run" worksheets.
In the "Run" sheets data over time is inputted and then some simple calculations are made. Each Run sheet is identical in format and design but each is used for a different test sample.
The "Log" sheet is then used to directly reference those calculations on each run, so the user does not have to manually input the information. I have been referencing the different calculations by defining the ranges in each "run" worksheet manually and then entering the array formulas one-by-one on the "log" sheet.
My problem is that I sometimes need to add a new data point or change the format of the "run" sheets. When I do this I have to go back through each "run" sheet and redefine ranges and so on. Is there a way that I can duplicate any changes made in a "master run" worksheet, and have the references adjust for each subsequent "run" worksheet after that?
From what I can tell I think a 3D array might work, but Im dont know much about VBA, which I think is the only way to write a 3D array. Please let me know if you have any ideas.
Erik
