A Rowing question Pace Calculator

Hi all,
A1 has meters, c1 has time in mins and seconds.
I am currently doing a rowing spreadsheet and am trying to get a rowing SPLIT formula,

I am looking for a 500m (meter) split time.

So if i row 10,000 meters in cell A1, and my time is 40 mins and 30 seconds in cell C1

I now want B1 to calculate the 500m split which is 2 mins 1.5 seconds.
