Hi,

I could be barking up the wrong tree here and there be a simpler way to do this.

I have data in column D that contain positive and negative numbers (along with zeros). I want to SUM all the negative values so have used
Excel Formula:
SUMIF(D:D,"<0",D:D)
.
But I want it to show as a positive figure rather than negative, so have tried to stack that formula with the ABS function. I am getting no where fast.

Please can someone help?

Thanks,

Chris

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
Works fine for me. Strange..

Are you sure that you have real numbers, not texts?
( In Turkish yes, it is ABS(SUMIF()) )
