Access 2007 - Shortcut menu takes a long time to fade in!

Alright, this is just a pet peeve of mine. Whenever I right click to display the shortcut menu, it takes probably a full second to fade into existence before I can interact with it. It just aggravates me that there is such a significant delay between action, seeing it come in, and then finally being able to interact with it.

I had this problem with excel 2002, but I figured out how to change it with some obtuse options tinkering, but I simply can't figure out how to do the same with Access 2007.

Can anyone help me out with this?
