I made a point of sale workbook for the office but am struggling to find a way to allow more than one person to access it at the same time without using an online feature (for security purposes).
Is there any way to have multiple "workstations" access the same excel file and use userforms simultaneously?
Or
If it has to be via an online connection, how would this work?

Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
To avoid classic Excel issues in such case you should better work with Access …

So first - unless the file is stored on a local server that your computers have access to, for multiple people to have access to the file, it will have to be online in some sort of another.

Saying that, it's possible to use the legacy sharing feature (see here to make it easy to access), but be aware of the limitations. This is opposed to the newer, and much nicer in my opinion to use and maintain, co-authoring feature for M365.
