Add-in updates

Hi there
i have a user who is struggling to change the path to an Excel Add-in. Due to Active Directory restrictions she initially did not have access to her C Drive and installed the add-in in a different location. She subsequently received access to her C Drive and installed the updated add-in here.
I recommended that she uninstall the add-in, browse and reinstall the add-in from the new location.
However, the add-in still defaults to the original path and she needs to update the link to the new one every time she opens Excel.

Please could you advise?

I think you should try removing the original add-in as described here:

then install it again from the new location.
