Hi all I have 2 tabs. Tab 1 is slimmed down from an advanced filter as a table.

I then want to do a vlookup from tab 2 to see if theres any data tab 2 that is also in tab 1. So if it returns an N/A I know it is irrelevant and anything returning a value is relevant between the two tabs.

My problem is when I just do a vlookup it will still lookup for all this hidden rows from the advanced filter on tab 1, can I do this vlookup and exlclude the hidden or "filtered data" from tab 1

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
