As part of an ongoing issue that I won't bore you with I need to find an alternative to the EOMONTH formula that does not use any analysis toolpak references...any ideas guys?

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
If you want to do it purely with standard functions

=DATE(YEAR(A2),MONTH(A2)+x+1,0)

where x is the value previously used for the months parameter in EOMONTH

Thanks MrKowz, I was being incredibly dense! I was using the function in VBA anyway so totally forgot it can be used in worksheets. It's been a long week ha ha!

Thanks for your post too Jason.

Have a good weekend all.
