Hello,

I am in sheet5.cells(737,1) and i need to have in that cell the value of sheet1.cells(3,2).

I would like to use a formula, not a macro.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Couldn't you just put this formula in row 737, column 1(A) on the worksheet named 'Sheet5'?

='Sheet1'!B3

Or is there more to what you want to do?:)

Welcome to the Board!

Should just be: =Sheet1!B3

HTH,

Thank you for your answer.

I though about that but I need to use the cell.(x,x) function. I need to be able to do this in a loop like:

I need to define

for i=2 to 101
sheet1.cells(3,i) = sheet5.cells(737,1+13*(i-1))
next i

I don't think I can do this with letters
