Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.

It looks like your column A is text as it is "LEFT ALIGNED" in the picture.
What you can do is highlight column A and change the format to "GENERAL" and make sure your column is normal alignment.
If it is aligned left then it is not a number.

Or, try to format the column as a NUMBER with a bunch of decimals. If it does format it is not a number.

Thank you. I figured it out. I changed the format to number on the data sheet and it works now. Thanks for the help!
