I have a long list of about 300 items arranged alphabetically. To select an item from "T" or "U" I have to scroll down all the way to reach the required item. This takes a long time.

Is there any way to make a drop-down list work so that typing causes a "jump to" a matching item in the list? For example, if the list includes "Tourch," can it be formulated so that typing "T"-"O"- brings up "Torch" in the drop-down list? or at least typing "T" will move to the list starting with "T".

This would be a huge time-saver in lengthy drop-down lists.

Dear Peter,
I tried the link but my work sheet does not seems to work.
The Box, its link disappears. When I try to use the example program and try to increase the list it does not seems to work. Probably I have to change somthing in the enclose code.
