Buttons

I'm at a loss here . Every time a try to add a button from the control toolbox, it wont show up. neither will a text box, radio button, etc. I'vew tried editing the properties, changing the color, moving it to the front, but nothing sems to work. Am i missing something, or are my excel skills just fail?

how do you add the button (either from the FORM toolbar or CONTROL toolbar
Have you created previously and now are you not abel to do it.
or is it he first time you do it. If it is former that some thing is wrong with your excel.

when you click a buuton in the toolbar it does nto automatically put it there. when you click a button the cursor turns into a small + and you have to drage this (pressing the mouse button )to draw a rectangle. and release the mouse button. .

Im adding the button from the control toolbox. It is the first time ive tried adding a button on my machine, and can't seem to understand why it wont work. The only thing unusual about my machine is that i'm not an admin, but i'm pretty sure that wouldnt affect how excel operates.

somebdoy or something is blocking the control box. try to create the button from form button it is easier.
view-tollbars-forms and after creating the button you can assign a macro
