Bypass master workbook password to update info. in a linked workbook

Hello,

I am have a Master workbook that is password protected. I have linked another workbook to the Master. However my linked workbook will not update info. from the Master without password info. How can I get the linked workbook to update without the Master's password.

Hopefully this makes sense to someone who is an excel expert.
