Can anyone explain this formula:=MID([@URL],SEARCH("/",[@URL],8),SEARCH("-t*.html",[@URL])-SEARCH("/",[@URL],8))

It's because the formula is in a table & you are looking at a cell in the URL column.

Ah i see, is the alternative to [@URL] a cell reference as in:
=MID([A14],SEARCH("/",[A14],8),SEARCH("-t*.html",[A14])-SEARCH("/",[A14],8))

Thanks in advance,
David

Bravissimo it works e.g.=MID(A15,SEARCH("/",A15,8),SEARCH("-t*.html",A15)-SEARCH("/",A15,8))

Massive thank you to @Fluff
