Can Excel recognize multiple numbers within a cell in regards to formulas? I can use the "IF" formula to tell Excel that if there is a number 1 in A1, to place an "X" in B1 and if there is a number 2 in A1, place an "X" in C1. How do I get Excel to recognize both a 1 AND a 2 in A1 so that B1 AND C1 both get "X"'s? Is this possible?

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
If a1 has a value of 12345
You want it b1 and c1 to have an x.
What if a1 has a value of 1345?
Do you want b1 and c1 to be blank?

If the number was "12345", I would want B1 and C1 blank. However, If the cell contained "12345, 1, 2" I would want them to have an X.
