Hi all
Can anyone help with the following?
I have a workbook which contains sheet1 through to sheet12.
I am trying to add a formula on sheet 1 at cell m8 that will give the total of the values in cell m900 from all of the sheets.

ie. m900 on sheet1 plus m900 on sheet2 plus m900 on sheet3 etc

If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great.

This type of structure will work.

=SUM(Sheet2:Sheet3!A2)

I believe it will depend on the placement of the actual worksheet in the tabs. So they must all fall in sequence.

You're looking for a 3-D SUM --

=SUM(Sheet1:Sheet12!M900)

You can contruct this formula by typing in it, or:

a] entering: =SUM( in a cell, then

b] Clicking on the 1st sheet [ here Sheet1 ] in the list of sheets, then

c] Clicking on the cell of interest [ here, M900 ] , then

d] Hold down the Shift key while clicking the last sheet tab [ Sheet12 ], then

e] adding a )
