Cannot add a row to a table in Excel 2007

My table contains 32657 records, every record contains 23 fields. Quite big, sure. When I try to add more records or to expand table area by dragging down-right corner down Application crashes. But inserting rows inside the table makes no harm to excel. Rebooting doesn't help. Everything looks like it's a kind of MS bug, eh?

Click the italics "fx" icon to the left of the formula bar to open the Functions Arguments dialog. Help is displayed for each argument.
Normally Excel tries to increment cell values when you drag down.
What do you have in the row that might be causing a crash? Mixed text and numbers? Formulas?
What all is selected when you drag down? One cell, one row, whole data table?

Numbers, data, text, no formulas.

Just two experiments.

1. I copied part of the table (actually, twenty rows) to new workbook. No structure, just raw data (paste special - values). Then I inserted table in new area. Both books stayed opened. I tried to expand the new table - remember, twenty rows - and oops! it crashed.

2. Well, everything's the same as in previous experiment except closing the first book (with really big table). I tried to expand the new table and excel stayed alive. New cells haven't been filled with any kind of generated data - they stayed empty.

I'm scratching my head. :)

Actually, it doesn't matter. I tried to insert new row with the last one selected and tried to tab staying in the down-right corner of the table. It crashed in both cases :(
