hi guys,
I sell cakes. I have 5 families of cake, and then 5 specific types per family. This is represented in a table: Cakes!A1:E6 with each column a family.
I have sold 1000 cakes on Sales!, and now need to go through each sale (a row) and record the family and type of each cake on each row.
I do this by creating two new columns - G and H.
I would like G to be a drop down list of families, and then H to be a drop-down list that cascades from the selection in G.
Any ideas? I can do basic data validation lists but nothing like this.
Help much appreciated as ever for this wonderful forum.
Many Thanks
Gus
