Hello all:

I have simple statistical data on an excel spreadsheet and when I try to perform calculations it, I get a #VALUE! output.

The cells to which my formula refers are formatted as numbers, so I do not know what may be happening.
It seems as if the data is not recognized as numbers. I have tried to copy and paste as value in another book but the result is the same.

Can anybody please shed light on on this matter?

Thank you,
Bodol

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
=cell*100 or =cell+2

The issue may be related to cell formatting, but it is formatted as number

I think the problem is the 2 full stops in your number.

Check out this which is formatted as number
