Hi, how do I format negative numbers to appear in brackets. E.g -6 becomes (6), -3 becomes (3). Thanks

Use conditional formatting, e.g.:

0.00;(0.00)

This will display all numbers with two decimal places and negative numbers with brackets around them.

Select the cells you want to format, and go to Format/Cells. On the Number tab, choose "Number" from the list. You can then choose how you want to show negative numbers in those cells.
