On my spreadsheet certain cells will not calculate.
Calculation is set to Automatic
Cell is NOT formatted as text
Even when I press F9 it will not calculate
In one example the formula is a simple link to another cell.

If I press F2 to edit the formula it will then calculate after I hit enter...
However there are too many to mannually do this.

Has anyone seen this before.... any ideas?

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Have you tried selecting the column, then go to menu path Data > Text To Column, Click Finish.

This sometimes works.

Cheers

Welcome to the MrExcel board!

You could also try this:
1. Select the whole worksheet by clicking the plain grey rectangle just to the left of the column A label.
2. Edit|Replace...|Find what: = |Replace with: = |Replace All
