Hi All,

I track the number of training classes due for my group at my company. In this industry, there are periodic trainings to be completed. Right now, I have a basic excel grid, which shows how many classes are due for each manager, each week (it is the total due from their direct reports)..I run this report once a week, sometimes twice, and I enter the total under each date for that week.

How do I chart this against a goal of zero due? I am not sure how to do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Below is some fake data to give you an idea of how I have it now in a spreadsheet.

Thanks!!!!!

Manager 11/24/2014 12/1/2014 12/8/14

joe smith 5 1 12
bob jones 10 5 2
Al klein 1 8 10

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Welcome to MrExcel.

Can't you just plot that data on say a Column Chart? Clear the top left cell (Manager), select the data and choose Insert|Column. You may need to change the Type of the x axis to Text.

I'm not sure. I thought I was supposed to somehow show the current status against a goal of zero and I do not know how to show that. I'm confused.
