Hello,

I though this would be simple but I can't seem to find anything on how to do this. I have a chart with a single trend line that is selecting data from a column. By default, it plots the line from the top cell down to the bottom cell. However, I'd like it to be the other way around, so the chart is plotted from the bottom cell going to the top cell.

So as you can see in the screen shot, I want the trend line to start on 0% and end on 8%, Any ideas?

Many thanks in advance!!

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
Either way you should be able to do this:
• Show the lables for the X axis
• Select the lables
• In the right pane click on Axis Options (the column chart symbol)
• Scroll down to Categories in reverse order and tick that box.
(If they are real dates it would say dates in reverse order)

Let me know if that works for you.

Solution
Thanks for your help! The dates are actual real dates - I've just formatted them to look like that. Anyway, your instructions pointed me in the right direction and the chart is looking good now. Thank you!
