Hi

two versions, one works, second one gives: Compile Error, Expected: =

1) CollectionName.Add cell.Value, CStr(cell.Value)
2) CollectionName.Add(cell.Value, CStr(cell.Value))

What is the difference? Why the second one generates an error

Thanks

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Because when you put parameters in parentheses, VBA typically expects that it will be assigned to a variable or object.
