Hi,

I am working on a project in VB6.0 and SQL Server. We use MS Excel for our reports. We also use server side COM+ components.

When the code comes to the following statement, the application is crashing.

ObjExcel.Protect strPassword

We are not sure why this command is failing for some excel files and is working for some excel files (with the same password etc.)

Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
