Comments for multiple cells

How do u make the same comment appear when the mouse is moved over different cells. Basically ive bout 20 cells which each have the same comment. just tryin to do it the short way?

Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
You could copy the comment into all the boxes. Just copy the comment then:

Paste Special> Comments

Just put a comment in one of the cells and then copy the cell to the others - the comment will copy across.

Just a note of caution though - if you later copy a value into any of the cells, use pastespecial/values or you may delete the comment.

Any help?

Aye thatll do the job I just thought there would be a way of selecting a load of cells and inserting the one comment for the lot.
