conditional format is lost

i have a power piviot table that i applied conditional formatting to

it bold out the whole row if there is a negative value in column g

for some reason when i slice the table by a salesman etc. the conditional formatting moves only to column A and B why is that

Conditional formatting can be applied to an object in a pivot table. First apply the format to a cell, then use the "formatting option" pop up wizard to apply to the pivot table objects. There are only 2 options for pivot tables. If you change the pivot table so that they option you selected is no longer available (or is different), then the formatting will not auto apply to the new state
