I am trying to automate a gant chart. If I have the start and end date, how can I make the cells highlight according to the month (the name of the month is at the top of the chart)

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
So the chart is set up with projects on the left (column A) months across the top and the start and end date listed at the end.
I want every month highlighted between the start and end date of the project.
Does that help?
I think I may need to reference the dates and the months on the chart

What version of Excel are you using?
