I am trying to find a way to highlight a cells in a given range which contain a specific formula.
Example: several cells in a given range may have the formula for a VLOOKUP, others cell in the range may have a formula such as OFFSET or equal to another cell.
I want to highlight all cells that have a VLOOKUP. IS there a method to do this in Conditional Formatting?

Any help appreciated.

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
You can use the FORMULATEXT function in a Conditional Formatting formula to do that (FORMULATEXT function).
For example, if you wanted to see if the VLOOKUP formula is used in cell N22, you would use this Conditional Formatting formula:
Excel Formula:
=ISNUMBER(FIND("VLOOKUP",FORMULATEXT(N22)))

Solution
Yes. I had just discovered that expression. I use =LEFT(FORMULATEXT(D1),3)="=VL" and highlight a certain color. Then I repeat for say"=IF", different color. Works Great! Thank you.
