Conditional formatting

I'm trying to get a date range to go red if its below or equal to the current date.
ie column C is various date ranges and Cell P3 is todays date.

Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give.
 

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
conditional formatting for column C:
Excel Formula:
=C1<=TODAY()
