Hi,

I made a simple connection between one datatable with some dates and a Calendar I built up in Power Query.

This connection works perfectly in PowerPivot and I am thus able to display, for instance, demand per month name.

I imported the content of my excel file with my measures and so on to power BI to build up a report but wheareas the connection is active, I am not able to use it in any way : it keeps returning me "blanks".

Does anyone have any idea where the problem could come from ?

Thanks,
Hugo

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
I guess it is a migration bug. You should send a frown from Power BI Desktop. Given this connection is to a database anyway, can you just delete it in Power BI and then re-import directly from the DB?

Hey Matt, thank you for our answer, I actually found the bug : when importing, Power BI automatically changed one of my date columns to text and thus it was not working !

Thanks again,
Hugo
